IS A FREE CAR FOR REAL?: Maybe you've seen segments on television news magazine shows about this and wanted more information. Yes, people do receive free cars. Yes, people do get paid to drive their own cars -- festooned with peel-off advertising.
Think city bus. Think a product displayed on the sides, front, back and even the roof of a vehicle. Think how many people will see that vehicle -- and its attached advertising -- during its daily drive. Now you've got the idea. As it becomes more and more difficult and expensive to reach consumers from billboards and other media, car advertising is taking off. You have an opportunity here.
Now, it's not quite as simple as 'give me the keys, I'm ready.' But the driver application process is easy and if you haven't ducked out on credit bills and don't have a history of reckless driving, you have a shot. You have the best shot if you commute a long distance to a major city and park outdoors in a location visible from the street.
You could attempt to find the many free car distributors on your own, but a heads-up Webmaster has done the searching for you. And he'll keep the database up-to-date as more companies jump aboard this new advertising bandwagon. If your personality is outgoing, if your neighborhood will allow this kind of vehicle, if you have a vehicle in good condition (no clunkers wanted), then you might qualify. There's a one-time $25 fee to access the database from now on. Applications do not require payment of a fee.
I've checked this out as best I can. Do not waste money unless you seriously want to apply. Most companies seem to prefer the New Beetle, PT Cruiser or a van for ad display. RV vehicles are highly desirable and command premium rates (up to $1,000 a month paid to owners).
And, yes, students can qualify. Ads on campus are desirable. Click the banner directly below to find out more.
